Environmental pollution is an undesirable change in the physical, chemical biological characteristics of the natural environment, which usually caused by man’s technological activities like deforestation.

Ako foundation serves as the Secretariat for the African Youth SDGs Achievers Awards identifying and honouring individuals and institutions whose efforts are promoting youth inclusive governance and participation on the continent in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

50,000 Seedlings Planting Project 2022
Trees are the main oxygen source of our Earth, by planting them we can reduce the CO2 level. According to science and research, forest reforestation is the number one answer for stopping global warming. That is why we need to take action now. It is time to Plant more Trees in our communities and in our schools. It was also about creating high Environmental concerns and awareness among members of our communities and the children in our schools.
Ako Eco Hive Club
Fostering climate collaboration in communities would achieve a maximum impact if the youths and schools are involved. It is of great importance we collaborate with the community through the Eco clubs in schools and colleges to create change by empowering students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. This opportunity offer to students would influence, engage their parents and communities to promote climate resilient green economy.
