We hope you’ll join us in the Combating Zika & Future Threats Challenge, and want to see your stories, inspiration & ideas before the Challenge sprint ends June 17. Medical expertise is not required. Check out the resources & opportunities for involvement below, and jump in now!
Need a Dose of Inspiration?
Check out a great post by Professor Christelle Scharff on how her students partnered with students from Brazil and used design thinking to gamify the education and disease detection process HERE.
Come practice your design thinking skills and help us tackle Zika over drinks, chips and salsa at the SF IDEO office on May 25 (no prior Zika-combating skills required). Music curated by Brad Wolfe! RSVP HERE.
Got Questions? Join our Twitter Chat!
The #CombatZika Twitter Chat will take place May 31 at 3pm EST. Participate in a discussion focused on learning from experts and answering questions about how we can better prevent, detect, and respond to disease outbreaks like Zika in the future.
