Ecosystem Based Adaptation for Food Security in Africa Assembly (EBAFOSA) Ghana chapter would like to invite you to the official launching ceremony under the theme ‘Optimizing Ghana’s Food Security and Job Creation.’
The launch will be held on Friday, 3rd of March 2017, at ISSER Hall, University of Ghana from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The launch will bring together agriculture and food security practitioners, and stakeholders from the government sector, private sector, educational and research institutions, individuals publics/citizens, CBOs, international intergovernmental organizations, NGOs, CSOs, FBOs etc. to collaborate in developing and implementing policy solutions to upscale Ecosystem Based Adaptation – driven agriculture and its value chain improvements toward ensuring sustainable inclusive growth in Ghana.
As climate change threatens agriculture, food security, and water resource, EBAFOSA-Ghana serves as a platform to foster collaboration in combating food insecurity, climate change, ecosystems degradation and poverty in Ghana using an innovative approach that decentralizes the development and application of the policy solutions in order to achieve participation of key stakeholders in public, private, research etc., in a least bureaucratic channel.
